The story begins somewhere in the middle... Belinda Lopez was hired by Canonical, and Addison Berry was promoted to Documentation Team Lead for Drupal, and EmmaJane Hogbin realized that it was time for all documentation teams to come together to share and learn. Although some open source conferences do have a documentation stream; and there are (proprietary) documentation conferences, none were really meeting the needs of our documentation community.

The conference will be three days long, and hosted in Owen Sound, Canada (home of EmmaJane Hogbin and HICK Tech). Toronto is the closest airport, a shuttle bus will be provided as part of the registration.

   1. Day one: "high level" sessions by experts. Topics include:
          * information architecture
          * licensing
          * commerce, revenue models and paying the mortgage
          * learning styles and documentation to match
          * community management
   2. Day two: unconference for all projects to share their experiences.
   3. Day three: team sprints (at this point Drupal is interested, but since the space will be rented others will be welcome to stay as well).
