Здравейте.

Отдавна не съм писал, за това моля да ме извините ако има такава тема (просто ме пренасочете към нея).

Имам проблем с шрифтовете в browser-ите под Ubuntu 11.10 - не хващат AntiAllising опциите и изглеждат ръбави, грозни ... и изобщо много далеч от (колкото и еретично да звучи) Windows рендирането на шрифтовете.

Сложил съм де що шрифт съм намерил. Дори копирах папката шрифтове от служебната Боза 7 машина ... дайте идея какво да правя, защото много много се дразня ...

Прегледал съм ги!
Махнах /etc/rc.acpid и повечето други такива!

Останаха много малко активни неща ...

Чудя се дали да не затрия udev и hald, но не знам как ще се отрази на другите неща ...

И така.
Пак съм аз и пак със странен проблем:

ОС: Slacware upgraded to 13.1

Какъв ми е проблема:
След рестарт машината работи точно 15 минути (не е предположение, защото на няколко пъти следях с htop) и после изчезва ...

Махнал съм всички скриптове от /etc/rc.d освен тези от които имам нужда. Махнах и опцията в /etc/rc.d/rc.M за спиране на монитора на 15 минути ...

Нямам cron jobs ...

Какъв ми е проблема:

Всичко си е ок на системата - fglrx си е сложен и си работи. inittab е сложен да тръгва в runlevel 4 ...

До тук добре. Стартирам машината ... зарежда ... стига до заветния ред Starting up X11 session manager ...
Изчаквам ...
И на екрана започва да мига курсора и до там!

Правя Ctrl+Alt+F6 -> log-in as root -> killall kdm

И KDM-a си се стартира нормално:

Решението се оказа много много просто:

01. Сваляте си драйверите от сайта на ATI.
02. Стартирате run-а с опция --extract
03. Отваряте fglrx-install.nqkakuv_string/common/lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod/kcl_io.c където добавяте:

#include <linux/signal.h>

04. В fglrx-install.nqkakuv-string стартирате sh ./ati-installer.sh 8.5912 --install
05. reboot ... and that is all ...

Оправих нещата по най-балъшкия начин -
removepkg httpd
slackpkg install httpd ... тъй като нямах време и възможност ... да го мъча от работа ... и ако не стане като се прибера в средата на месеца ще го оправям ...
