[Responsibilities]

Our Client is a leading provider of Integrated Security & Building Management Solutions for the global security markets including software solutions to high-performance wired and wireless integrated systems, sophisticated technology, intrusion and access control systems.Their integrated solutions also include management platforms, cloud based and SaaS solutions and Smartphone applications.

They are searching for several Software Engineers to join their organization and help them develop software of the highest quality.

 
Responsibilities
 
 
o Designing, implementing and debugging of new or existing software components during complete lifecycle
o Configure an embedded Linux system that will work, every time, from power-on to potentially years of uptime
o Take a raw set of requirements, refine them, develop your own execution strategy, and then create a great product that solves the problem
o Write solid, robust, self-defending code (mostly C, some shell scripting and random other bits)
that lives in a potentially hostile environment
o Create and/or modify web GUI (standard HTML, simple templates and some Java script) on embedded systems
o Work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams and projects within the technology
o Document and assure the quality of software applications across all architectural layers
 
Requirements
 
o B.SC  in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
o Have a solid 5+ years experience in embedded systems development
o Solid C, C++ experience in a UNIX/Linux environment (autoconf / automake / make / gcc / gdb /
gdbserver)
o Reasonably self-sufficient, able to plan your own time, keep to your own deadlines
o Knowledge of Linux required to hand-build a basic embedded system
o Familiarity with embedded issues (flash filesystem, low resource applications)
o Work with cellular modem technologies
o Flexibility in skills (scripting languages, PHP, etc.) is an asset
o Travel internationally is required on a limited basis
o Good English skills
