Xubuntu 14.04, nvidia vsinc, stop tearing.

От доста време го има този проблем със собственическите драйвери на Nvidia. Макар и да добавиха опция в xfce настройките на ефектите за vsinc, се оказа, че действително работи само с драйвера Nouveau.
Според мен за сега има само едно действително добро решение иначе съвети за какви ли не акробатики има в интернет но при мен нито едно решение не заработи от тях.
Решението е "compton". Пакета го има в хранилищата на Убунту.

За да работи е необходимо ефектите на Xubuntu да бъдат изключени. Копирате се един от конфиг файловете в линковете и го поставяте в ~/.config/compton.conf
Аз лично си направиx един мой файл ползвайки двата дадени в линковете по-горе:

Много важно е опцията за vsinc  във файла да е включена. Иначе другите опции за ефектите могат да се настройват по собствен вкус. После в автостарта на Xubuntu слагате стартер със следната команда"

compton --config /home/вашия потребител/.config/compton.conf -b

После излизате от сесията и влизате наново и сте готови. Имате прекрасни ефекти и забравяте за досадните проблеми. Процеса на ефектите ползва изключително малко ресурси а системата работи много леко, може сами да се убедите в това. :)
Ако не искате да ползвате тези ефекти, просто махате командата от автоматичното стартиране и си пускате стандартните ефекти.

cybercop, когато писах в темата ти за xfce, имах предвид точно този проблем. Пуснах решението в отделна тема, понеже го намирам за важно. Ако искаш можеш да сложиш линк там към тази тема. :)
