I do have a problem with my new PC. I finally got myself two TFT Flats (sooo nice!), but got a 'lil problem with 'em. My graphic card does not seem to support both monitors, even though it has 2 connections. While the resolution on my 'main' TFT (1680x1050) is perfect, it seems to be impossible to set the other screen to the same resolution, although the res. 1680x1050 is shown in either the system's and the graphic card's control panel. What can I do?? I talked to ASUS today - but just got some stupid answers that don't work. My suggestion: Is it possible that a graphic card with two DVI-ports does not accept the connection of two VGA screens??? May that be the prob.? Or do I need a different GC?

There are some great news integrated i've been waiting for since a long time. But I have a new problem, similar to what i had in PowerSHAPE, too. The facts: it's a Notebook with an ATI Graphics Card (btw, this mistake I will make never again..). In PowerSHAPE I always have to modify the "powershape.con" by uncommenting the line "software_picking". Otherwise I cannot select anything with the intelligent cursor. Now with PowerMILL 2011 (SP3, WIN7x64) I'm not able to select surfaces from the imported model any more. #2011 worked (and is still working) well. I already found the "graphics.con" in the PowerMILL-Folder, but the line (as described above) IS already uncommented.

Please help.

Hello,

I splitted this from GCC-7.2 thread to keep that topic clean for gcc relevants. Several segmentation faults occurring when compiling different packages. Most commonly llvm and libreoffice fails.I re-checked my RAM with Memtest (4th time) and now it failed again after the last check without errors. This makes me believe, another component but not the RAM might be the issue since a RAM issue should be reproduceable every time I guess?

I have an office that has a Cam2 that I believe is having hardware issues. The camera is moved between about 10 computers and it seems that all of them are having issues with the camera at one point or another. The most common issue is when they plug or unplug the camera, it causes the computer to completely shutdown. I was told earlier that one time when they plugged the camera in the light had something of a strobe effect. The computer has shutdown while simply capturing too. I originally thought that it could be an issue with the cable they were using or the fact that they were plugging into the front USB ports but I don't believe that is the case anymore. I have put individual cables plugged into the back of each machine but the problem persists.
