Тъй :) Проблема е в xserver-xorg-video-intel. Сега съм го махнал и всичко е наред (с изключение на лагавата работа на всичко графично). Пробвах разни ppa-та ама все е същото. Пробвах с различни кърнъли (4.4, 4.10, 4.13, 4.15) - същото. С xserver-xorg-video-intel не работи, а без него - работи.Въпрос - как на ш*баното убунту да му downgrade този пакет? Щото опитах

Здравейте,ползвам описания минт с последната официална версия на firefox от официалното хранилище на ubuntu.Проблема е, че не мога да отворя нито менюто от бутончето с трите хоризонтални линии, нито настройките на плъгините (adblock+, proxy switcher), както и като създам bookmark след това не мога да го премахна от звездичката в бара.
Това го забелязах днес и мисля, че е следствие от вчерашния ъпдейт на системата, дето направих. Мисля, че по някакъв начин менютата не се визуализират. Бутончето изглежда, че се натиска (посивява) но няма действие. Същото важи и за подканването за разрешаване на плъгин на някои сайтове (лего елемента в началото на url бара).
Какво опитах до тук:
  • Създаване на нов потребител - същия проблем и в неговия профил
  • Рефреш на firefox - без промяна
  • Деинсталиране и инсталиране наново - същото
  • Деинсталиране и качване на standalone версия от официалния сайт на мозила - няма промяна
  • Ръчно триене на профила и всичко свързано с firefox - без промяна
Ползвм също и thunderbird - при него не се наблюдават подобни проблеми.
Някакви идеи?
п.п. Същинските настройки са достъпни чрез F10 и навигация, но например опциите на някои плъгини не се визуализират, защото са достъпни само чрез бутончето в бара.

Тая сутрин един руснак ми писа че е пусната в свободен достъп база с 1,4 милиарда пароли за имейли, форуми и други подобни. Така че който ползва една парола за много неща, или му е някаква проста парола - май е време да я смени.

Линукс винаги е имал проблем с power management-a, особено ако е на лаптоп.
Както и с хибернацията.

Това е една от причините да "яде" прекалено бързо батериите на лаптопите - примерно, ако с Виндовс батерията те кара 3 часа, с Линукса - изкарва около 1 час. Откак се помня го има този проблем.
Това, че някой разбирач не разбира как да си настрои системата не означава, че системата е крива. Или както старите хора казват - На крив х*й и космите му пречат.

Големи проблеми има с пящия режим на минта. Каквито и настроики да задам компа се изключва след 10 минути освен ако въобще не изключа опцията. Някой знае ли как да го оправя?
Малко повече информация може ли да споделиш? Каква графична среда ползваш, кое ядро, на каква машина (лаптоп, стационарен компютър) марка/модел...

Спрял съм flow контрола, че микротика даваше грешки.
Но понеже проблемът се проявява десетина пъти на ден, предполагам, че става дума за някаква хардуерна глупост. Освен това се случва и в извънработно време, когато компютрите са изключени, така че не е от претоварване.
Аз имах доста проблеми с микротишките CCR неща докато не си купих микротишки SFP-та. В интерес на истината не съм тествал SFP+ връзки, но факта, че са капризни на гигабитови SFP-та е показателен. Дори оригинални CISCO SFP-та водят до забивания и рестарти.
Имай го предвид.
Пробвай също така да видиш DDM информацията на SFP-то под линукс. Важно е. А ако няма такава функционалност - по-добре го смени. Аз ползвам HiTech от КСТ.

Първо какви са ти SFP модулите и второ - какво казват микротик логовете. Защото аз имам постоянно проблеми с микротик и сфп модули, които не са техни.

Не съм се занимавал с Паскал от сума време, ама да питам - изпълняваш ли някакъв селект за да видиш какво се случва с данните в базата или чакаш на някакви готови функции да правят това?
Дай някаква част от кода дето прави това за да го видим...
Като прегледах refresh документацията - не мисля, че е това, което ти трябва...

В твоя случай обаче имаме проГлем. И то голям. Проблема е, че много трудно се прави входящ шейпинг. Т.е. лесно е контролираш какво излиза, но какво влиза - не става. Не ми се влиза в подробности, но точно по този начин рабоят DDoS атаките - заливат жертвата с трафик и му препълват канала. Нищо не може да се направи, освен някой по веригата нагоре (upstream provider) с капацитет над този на атаката да го издропи.

Още по-ориентиран към теб пример - започваш да сваляш през TCP връзка с download manager - той пуска следващата заявка в момента, който свали предната (ако е настроен да използва само една връзка). Т.е. идеята му е канала ти да е на 100% по всяко време. Единствения начин е да му кажеш на него "Абе пич, интернета ми е скапан, айде, моля те, сваляй с 3kbps само) и той ще го направи. Всеки опит да ограничиш скоростта извън програмата (т.е. да се опитваш да мамиш) ще завърши по един и същи начин.

Значи като почна да чета такива творения направо се ужасявам до къде сме стигнали... Както някой каза по-нагоре нещата се чистят от вътре на вън. Отиди и си купи микротик рутер (жичен, безжичен, какъвто те кефи). Пусни си лайв диск/усб с убунту/минт/центос. Не се свързвай никъде!!!! Закачи се към чисто новия рутер, конфигурурай си пппое връзката на него и си пусни вътрешната мрежа само по кабел. След това си преинсталирай компютъра начисто, закачи се към новата ти мрежа и воала. Няма хакериииии :)
А паролите само за теб. Особено тази на рутера.
