Embedlynx Ltd. is a very small company specializing in the area of embedded systems development. We're looking for a software developer to help with the growing work volume. If you want to not just play with, but also help make electronic devices, we might be a good fit.

You will have to wear many hats and should not be afraid of learning new things. Being part of a small company can be challenging! On the other side, you'll not be limited to an extremely narrow area of work. You will have the opportunity to take part in many different aspects of software and hardware development and use a variety of different technologies. You can even get to wield a soldering iron from time to time, if you are so inclined.

* has senior level experience in OO design, C++ development, Linux
* is able to work independently
* can use git
* writes well structured code and tests it well before committing

* can find his way in a complex code base and refactor it

* has a can-do attitude when facing new challenges and technologies
* has a sense of responsibility and discipline


It will be really nice if you also have experience with:
* Qt, Python, Yocto/bitbake and embedded systems.
* the Free/Open Source software ecosystem
* a variety of programming languages and paradigms
* web development - front and back end, UI/HMI for industrial devices
* industrial and SCADA/BMS protocols like Modbus/BACnet
* automated testing

Аз само ще кажа, че успешно подписвам и изпращам към НАП Декларация 1 и разни други документи с detached подпис. Ползвам openssl и  ръководството на RealEnder, но не дословно, защото подписа ми е от Инфонотари.

Относно wear leveling-a няма какво да се притесняваш. Всички USB флашки или SD карти имат вграден контролер, който се грижи за това. Тези JFFS, UBIFS и т.н. се ползват само когато работиш директно с гол флаш чип, или т.нар MTD (Memory technology devices).

За файлова система ext3/ext4 е ОК. Вече ако искаш може да мислиш някакви варианти за намаляне на писанията изобщо, като монтиранe с noatime и изключване на журнала.

Слагането на журнала в РАМ диск е обезмисля неговата функция, така че ако толкова гониш бързодействие по-добре просто го изключи.

За тестовете ти със seek time - ами при флаш паметта реално няма такъв. Това е времето през което хард диска позиционира главата на точното място и изчаква плочата да се завърти за да прочете даден сектор.

Това срещу което протестират хората е, че тук би трябвало да е трудова борса за работа свързана с Линукс и свободен софтуер.  Поне за мен това трябва да е ценното и за предлагащите и за търсещите работа - специализацията.
