От днес (май вече е вчера) един от сървърите ми с Ubuntu 10.04 ISPconfig 3 се рестартира през един час.
Преглеждам логове цял ден и нищо не откривам. Това което ме втрещява направо е равния интервал от време (някъде около 1 час и 30 секунди)

Първото нещо което правиx е да спра crontab с /etc/init.d/cron stop  и не помогна. Лог от ssh само аз съм влизал. в syslog, dmеsg и message няма нищо подозрително. За всеки случай да покажа процеси.

Не ми прилича на хардурен проблем защото точното рестартиране през опреледел период се вижда нелогично.
Незнам вече къде да търся ако някой има някаква идея е добре дошла.

Сигурен съм, че се рестартира защото съм в него, гледам логовете, виждам uptime и разни други неща.
Между другото сагата продължава.

Сигурен си че cron-а е спрян? Да си пила нещо друго или да си инсталирал някакво приложение понеже гледам nagios, самби, разни такива?

Значи не /var/log/messages, а /var/log/syslog. И машината нормално ли се рестартира (изключват ли се преди това процесите) или директно угасва?

Все пак искам да уточня. Машината е инсталирана преди 4-5 месеца. Тази конфигурация работи от тогава без да е имало какъвто и да е проблем. Рядко, да кажем един път  седмично е обновявана с apt-get update && apt-get upgrade, последното обновяване беше преди 4 или 5 дена но вчера след като започнаха рестартите го правих пак. Проблема започна от вчера от 10 часа и 52 минути е първия рестарт - от тогава до сега се рестартира на 1 час и 20 секунди. Имам възможноста да осъществя прехвърляне на друга машина макар и това да ми коства много но не мога да повярвам, че проблем с хардуер ше ми рестартира сървъра точно на един час. Машината се захранва от централен UPS на който има още 2 такива като нея което изключва и проблеми с тока. Склонен съм в някаква степен да се съмнявам в ISPconfig - там има около 40 сайта и 7 потребителя който ги управляват но дори и да е това трябва все някъде да има някакъв лог който да покаже кой го прави ....
Рестартите са нормални защото никъде няма crash в логовете освен в конзолата през ssh в която в съм аз. Последното за което се сещам да ида на място и да сложа един монитор и да чакам да изплюе нещо на екрана преди рестарта.

И все пак syslog-а какво казва?
Да приемем, че заради точното време от 1 час и 20 сек. не е хардуерен проблема. Не е и от update-тите освен ако не си омазал нещо, понеже и аз имам един Ubuntu 10.04, преди 2-3 дена си сложи новият кърнъл (този с който си и ти), и понеже не ми е много за сървър го update-вам всеки ден и до сега не съм забелязал проблеми. Остава само някое приложение да ти ресва сървър-а.
