Търся 17' екран
като се има предвид, че ще пътувам почти всяка седмица с влак
Като се има това пред вид, не бъди толкова убеден в 17-те инча. Посоченият от теб лаптоп е 8.7 паунда, което е почти 4 килограма. "Стандартен" лаптоп (15 инча, около 2.6 кг) те изгърбва за максимум час, какво остава за толкова голям...
Не ме интересуват килограмите на лаптопа, а и колко издържа батерията пак не ме интересува... интересува ме лаптопа да е там кадето съм аз. Това за влака го казах просто да подчертая защо не желая да си взема декстоп компютър. То като падне батерията ще отида някаде кадето има контакт и хоп всички проблеми са решени. Edit: П.П. Като слезнеш от влака лесно можеш да намериш контакт... МОЛЯ БЕЗ ПОВЕЧЕ ОФТОПИК ОТГОВОРИ !

Ако искаш UEFI, още няма да намериш, ще го имат тези с брандинг Windows 8... Засега е рано, така, че споко!
С оптимуса не знам до колко си наясно, но там за всяко приложение, което искаш да ползва нвидията, трябва ръчно да го задаваш и ти се стартира в 'ускорен' от нея прозорец. Което лично за мен е идиотско!
С новите радеони слава богу няма такива глупости и си имаш пълен GPU switching, като под уиндоус... Просто Нвидия не желаят да поддържат Optimus...
Препоръчвам ти от тази гледна точка да се насочиш към атита, нещо тип 6570 и нагоре...
Второ не гледай асусите, в една друга тема обсъждахме прегряванията на тошиба и HP g6 сериите, е асус е същата история, даже си мисля, че ползват същият производител на шасита... Отделно самите шасита са им много 'пластмасови' и калпави, ако пътуваш много и гледаш над 15 инча лаптоп, ще е много паянтово и чупливо изпълнение... Насочи се към нещо други, като избягваш на HP G6 сериите, всички тошиби, асуси и Acer-и... За HP клас ProBook и нагоре...
Това е успокояващо да знам, че UEFI ще излиза с Windows 8 лого лаптопи, но има ли вариант някои от текущите да са с него? Даже и минимален да е той? ATI-та, но драйверите им не са толкова добри, колкото на NVIDIA(от последни сведения, които имам). В момента съм с ATI видео карта и никога не бях доволен от нея в сравнение с NVIDIA-ска, която имах(изгоря...), но може и да не съм много прав, защото както бях казал в първия пост тя е на AGP слот. Според теб кои марки и техни серии ще са най-малко предразположени към прегряване?

Много скъпа доставка: $278.04. Не се ли обезсмисля поръчката от eBay.
Знам, че е скъпа и не съм се спрял точно на него. Просто искам първо да си изясня нещата с UEFI и OPTIMUS и тогава ще тарся други алтернативи. Иначе цената в България е може би по-скъпа. Същия лаптоп с процесор i7 2760QM и RAM със скорост 1600Mtps е около 4000лв. без ДДС(alienware), което е доста по-скъпо от този лаптоп, който ще ми струва около 3000лв(в ebay е без ДДС и не знам дали ще ми начеслят ДДС в България като физическо лице или като фирма, но това по-късно ще разучавам).

Здравейте! Наскоро реших да си купя лаптоп, защото компютъра ми е на 10год. и повече и драйверите на ATI за AGP картата ми... са просто "превъзходни". Мислех за настолен компютър но като се има предвид, че ще пътувам почти всяка седмица с влак се спрях на лаптоп и от там почнаха моите проблеми. Искам лаптопа да е с мощен процесор i7 и да поддържа VT-X и видео картата да е NVIDIA и си бях харесал GTX 560М и екрана да е 17', а може и малко повечко . В момента това са двете неща, които ме притесняват: 1. OPTIMUS - знам за решенията като IronHide или The Bumblebee Project (за Prime не знам дали е в разработка), но знам и че може и да не проработят... но общо взето за това съм се предал. Едва ли ще намеря лаптоп, който да я няма. 2. UEFI - по-страшният проблем. Не съм много запознат с него, освен с това което пише в wikipedia и не съм го виждал, но знам, че зареди него може да не подкарам Linux. До колкото четох всички лаптопи са с него и едва ли ще имам късмета да си намеря такъв с горните характеристики, който да е без него. Единия от въпросите ми за него е дали на лаптопите може да се изключва UEFI-то и да си ползва старото(и ако да кои BIOS-и). Другият ми е дали всички латопи с BIOS-и ще ми датав достъп до конзолата на UEFI. Ако може ще бъда много благодарен ако ми препратите линк от кадето мога да се науча как да работя с него и как да си добавя Linux като OS, която да може да стартира. Ако имате някаква друга допълнителна информация за тях ще бъда благодарен да споделите. Също ако съществуват други технологии от които трябва да ми настръхва косата, ако искам да ползвам Linux ще се радвам да споделите и тях. Hi! For a long time I was using code::blocks as IDE on ubuntu but now I decided to test Eclipse CDT. First of all I compiled a simple console application... no problem. Later I tried gtkmm and I compiled an application containing only an empty window... no problem so I decided everythig works. But it didn't I tried connecting a signal but it gives an error. напиша sigc:: и натисна Ctrl + Space, Eclipse не завършва кода автоматично, а пътя съм го задал в настройките. Този проблем го нямам с namespace-овете Gtk или Glib. Пробвах с Cairo и Gdk, но и тях не ги разпознава въпреки, че съм им въвел пътя. Обаче проблеми с тях няма. Например този код се компилира без грешки: sigc::signal<void, int> signal; signal.emit(5); Gdk::Color color; Cairo::RefPtr<Cairo::Context> cairo; Проблема е само когато вързвам сигналите и изаползвам sigc::ptr_fun или sigc::mem_fun. С други не съм пробвал и не знам дали има проблеми. Edit: Оправих го... грешката беше моя... бях забравил да спомена, че наследявам Gtk::Window public и затова го наследяваше private. Като го оправих се компилира без проблеми

Езика е C++и знам че от зареждането на библиотеките защото колкото по-малко зареждам толкова по-бързо се стартира. Направих опит с една програма,на gtkmm, която показва само едно прозорче. За да стигне на първия ред от main отне 3мин и 20 секунди. С anjuta на същата тестова програма нямаше проблеми.

Здравейте. Работя над един проект, който зарежда много динамични библиотеки. При пускане на програмата тя тръгва за няколко секунди, но ако я пусна с дебъгера... по последно засичане 10мин и 19 сек. Това време е страшно бавно и изнервящо. По-стара версия на друг компютър се пуска също за няколко секунди. Някой има ли представа как да намаля времето за зареждане на библиотеките... или какво се е объркало, че сега е толкова бавно. Работната среда ми е KDevelop 3.5.5 и ОС е Debian. Забравих да спомена, че ако стартирам дебъгера на ръка всичко си върви ок. Проблема е когато се стартира от средата само.

Здравейте ! Трябва ми чрез GtkBuilder да зареда форма направена на Glade-3. Във формата съм сложил контрол, който е наследник на контрол от gtkmm-to(в този пример е насмедник на Gtk::Button). Програмата се стартира без никакви проблеми, и ако съм я стартирам без да съм сложил моя контрол всичко тръгва, но ако е там ми хвърля изключение: BuilderError: Invalid object type `MyWidget' Никаде из гугле не можах да намеря изчерпателна документация или пълен работещ пример. Здравейте. По принцип GNOME ми харесва много и не се оплаквам от него, но днес реших да пробвам KDE и да видя как работи. Инсталирах си пакета kubuntu-desktop и до тук нямаше проблеми. Стартирах KDE и уж пак няма проблеми, но като почнах да ресайзвам един прозорец... реагира след 2 секунди закъснение... Когато минимайзвам прозореци няма проблеми, всичко си върви гладко. След много лутане намерих от каде се конфигурира KDE-то и пробвах да пусна някои други ефекти... някои тръгнаха, но повечето казаха, че не искат. А от тези които тръгнаха някой се оказа бомба със закъснител. Опитах се да преместя един прозорец и X сървара умря. Някакви идеи ? Под GNOME всички си върви добре. При мен XV-видео не помага. С него като пусна на цял екран гледам един фрейм на 3 секунди... Здравейте. Използвам Ubuntu Karmic и преди 2 или 3 дена забелязах, че видеото не се изобразява както трябва. Смачкано е хоризонтално и цветовете са от гамата на сивото(grayscale). В настройките на VLC съм задал, че използвам X11 video output. Ако video output го сменя на някое от другите, видеото се оправя, но не може да се гледа вече на цял екран, защото пропуска много фреймове. Опитах някои от другите плейъри, но и те работеха само когато не е на цял екран. Видео картата ми е Radeon HD 3850 и използвам най-новия драйвер 9.11 от ati.com. Опитах се да накарам ubuntu да създаде нов xorg.conf файл, ако нещо в моя не е наред: su service gdm stop Xorg -configure но Fatal server error: Server is already active for display 0 If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock and start again. Опитвам се да инсталирам glib 2.22.2 на ubuntu 9.04 и ./configure минава без проблеми. EDIT: Проблема се оправи помного интересен начин. Еинственото което направих е, че преместих кода в директория в пътя до който не се съдържат спейсове.
