Здр реших да подкарам тв тунера Hauppauge wintv-hvr 930C ( usb,dvb-c,dvb-t ) под линукс и започнах да се ровя в интернет и открих че с тvtime може да се подкара и под ubuntu(в моя случай).Инсталирах си го следвайки в този сайт беше казано че да го сложа настройките на pal и после на europe. Добре като го стартирах няма сигнал тогава тръгнах да сканирам за канали но тази опция е не е достъпна затова реших да прегледам в интернет за настройване на програмата но пак нищо.Искам да питам някой има ли идея как да го настроя?Изришно съм проверил че този модел тунер върви под линук.

Не си заредил драйвер за тунера. И не си се уверил дали е поддържан от tvtime или от mythtv

Не си заредил драйвер за тунера. И не си се уверил дали е поддържан от tvtime или от mythtv
драйверите ги сложих веднага,всепак ще проверя да ли всичко е ок.как да проверя дали го подържа?

виж първо зареден ли е драйвера за твоя адаптер - lsusb
после с w-scan сканирай и ще намериш каналите.
Лично аз ползвам Kaffeine за гледане на dvb-c и работи перфектно за свободните канали включително и HD.
За кодираните канали ще ти бъде необходим CA модул и карта. Нашите кабелни оператори ползват система за криптиране conax.

В Kaffeine трябва да ти се появи Digital TV, ако всичко е нормално
но за да можеш да гледаш телевизия трябва да редактираш файла
 ~/.kde/share/apps/kaffeine/scanfile.dvb в който е нужно да се създаде секция за твоя кабелен оператор с честотите на които той работи.

пробвай sudo modprobe em28xx

sudo apt-get install kaffeine

и трябва да имаш вече digital tv
