General Description of the Job:
On Site Assistance at customer's premises abroad.
Ability for working with external support groups.
Taking a major role in solving support related activities raised by the customer.
Interacting with customers at technical levels for case handling.
Interacting with 3rd party support systems as part of handling cases and other support activities.
Interact with release manager as part of support flow for internal developments.
Be involved in integration and sanity tests on integration Labs.
Support important customer deliveries and installations.
Interacting with customers at technical levels for system installations and implementations.
Responsible for tracking the cases and keeping them within the SLA.
Reporting to the site manager


Job Skills Requirements:
•A Degree in Computer Science/software engineering.
•Experience in Customer technical support or programming of complex telecom systems in applicative area (not from GUI area, not from CRM area).
•Preliminary knowledge with UNIX, Oracle/SQL, C programming - mandatory
•Knowledge of telecommunication industry and billing systems - mandatory
•Fast learning.
•Willing and able to relocate abroad for at least 6 months with an option for 1 year and more.
•Fluent English (Reading and Writing & speaking). French - advantage
•Willingness to work intensively, being part of a team performing on call duty during non-working hours.
•Service Oriented, proven work in field with customers.
•HANDS ON (not wanting to be manage only).
•A can do attitude, independent, can solve problems in a creative way.

Technical Support Engineer (Professional Services)

Job Description
The Technical Support Engineer is a key technical contributor who will be the first point of contact for the customers and be responsible for providing phone support services on wireless based, RFID solutions and related third party products to customers in Europe, Asia and America.
•Function as primary customer contact for all incoming and assigned customer cases by providing 24X7 telephone, web, and email based technical support for products.
•Re-creating customer problems and testing customer configurations in-house to help diagnose problems
•Coordinating and driving activities within the company to address customers' needs.
•Escalate customer issues and request assistance as appropriate.
•Acquire, maintain, and expand knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies, and methods of support delivery, in order to quickly provide technically accurate and complete solutions.
•Constantly seek to proactively identify opportunities for improvement in all processes, communication, and documentation.
•Occasional travel to customer sites to perform on-site troubleshooting, upgrades, etc.

Experience:
•3-5 years of experience in as a Support/Field/Sales Engineer including enterprise software installations
•3+ Years of experience with:
•OracleSql Server DBs -Must
•Supporting Applications Ability to trace and debug J2EE Web Applications -Must
•Experience in one or more of the following is advantage:
•Wireless LAN
•Cisco Infrastructure
•APP ServersJBOSS
•Linux
•A BIG plus: Experience in Location systems – Cisco 2700 LBS/WCS, MSE, General TDOA and/or RSSI, CCNA certified.

Being part of the POC (Proof Of Concept) team, reports to the POC manager in NY.
Deploying applications on multi tier environments.
Working with J2EE Application Servers (production support) and databases.

Requirements for the position:
•Experience in deploying applications on multi tier environments (Web server, app servers, databases, authentication servers) – a must
•Experience working with J2EE Application Servers (production support) – various App. Servers, Admin level.
•Experience working with databases – mainly Oracle, Admin level
•Very good oral and written English communication skills
•Experience working with .net application servers - advantage
•J2EE Development experience- advantage

The UI programmer work is based on the back office of the system which is a WEB Application.


Requirement:
•Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a GUI programmer in a high tech company.
•Proven knowledge and practical experience in JSP, Java, Servlets, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JS - must
•Willingness for intensive job and possible flights abroad - must
•High level of English (reading, writing and speaking) - must
•Proven knowledge and practical experience in TagLib, Xsl, SQL, Eclipse IDE, Tomcat Apache Servers - advantage.
•Acquaintance with the telecom market, billing, CRM - advantage.
