значи инсталирах drivr-ите, както пишеше в сайта на nvidia заместих vesa с nvidia (в xorg.conf) - резолтата беше, че след това неможе да ми се стартира х-са

преди да го заместя xorg.conf изглеждаше тека

по добре не се опитвай да ни го преведеш а пейстни края на

Нещо си объркал в /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Намери къде е това "<td" и paste-ни да видим. Вероятно е някъде в началото на файла.

Освен, че трябва да промениш секцията с драйверите трябва да редактираш и две други секции. Секция "DRI" трябва да изглежда по  този начин

Не знам дали си ги направил, но в първия си пост не си го споменал за това ти ги пиша тези неща, извинявай ако си наясно.
Що се отнася до секцията за видое картата, при мен изглежда така

За нея ще трява при identifier да сложиш името на картата си и при BusID да сложиш това, което съответства на твоята.

като видях сега като видях xorg.conf на ккво прилича ми се зави свят, а до преди малко беше добре (на вид поне) - нищо не съм пипал (то и да пипам през Live-CD немогат да се записват промените)

май ще започвам преинсталация

Еми ето го моя фаил, с него ми бачка видеото (GF4, MX440) даже tvout-а съм го подкарал. Бачка и скрола на мишката. Ако иска пробвай...
