Здравейте! Инсталирах ubuntu-6.06-rc-desktop-i386 Харесва ми, но имам проблем с Интернет връзката. Инсталирам си драйверите eciadsl (eciadsl-usermode-0.11.tar). Модема е Ericsson hm120dp и се support-ва от драйверите, подкарвал съм го преди много време на Knoppix. Всичко протича нормално, connec-вам се към Интернет, но има голям проблем: Работи само пинг-а  Firefox, Gaim и други подобни все едно не виждат връзката. Firefox тръгва да зарежда и отнема цяла вечност и не става. Ако напиша IP адрес в Firefox пак не го отваря. Synaptic тегли ъпдейти с 30 байта  Но ping www.symantec.com връща IP-то и всичко си е точно. Един приятел се върза към PC-то ми през Remote Desktop-а и се опитва да оправи нещата, но не успя. Тоест интернет връзка има, но никоя програма не разбира това. Пробвах и с Ubuntu 5.10, но имаше същия проблем. Май това НЕ е добре  Пишеше в драйверите, че трябва да виждам един ред с UG флаг

Когато спра IPv6 изобщо не се връзвам към Интернет Виждам [EciAdsl 4/5] Connecting to provider... което не се изпълнява никога 
Забраняването на IPv6 във Firefox също не дава резултати.
Всякаква помощ е добре дошла

при мене когато модема не е читам ми дава gataway с ip на модема. Прова ли да го рестартнеш.
Отовори в браувъра 192.168.100.1 и виж с какъв статус е модема... ерорите и подобните глупости

Рестартирам и PC-то и модема, всичко да е точно, обаче напразно 192.168.100.1 не мога да го отворя в browser-а. Може би точно в: Цитат | [EciAdsl 5/5] Setting up route table...

Връзката ми е PPP over ATM Не съм сигурен, че pppoeconf е подходящ. Абе егати гадния проблем. Не се решава и това е Още някакви идеи?

Тука може и да се изложа много,но поемам риска  Който играй-пИчели,беше казал един велик българин Не би ли трябвало да си с eth0,вместо с ppp0? И мисля,че би трябвало да е 192.168.0.1 в browser-a,за да ти покаже модема.Поне при мене е така Успех

192.168.0.1 нищо не ми показва в browser-а.
ppp0 си е правилното.
Ето как седят нещата:
1. Телефонния кабел идва от ADSL-филтърa. 2. Влиза в модема. 3. От модема излиза USB кабел, който отива в USB порта на PC-то.
Modem ADSL USB: VPI = 8 ; VCI = 35; Protocol = PPPoA; Incapsulation = Vc-MUX (RFC2364); Driver = WAN; Modulation = Multimode (or G.DMT)

Много лош вариянт. Аз поне като го ръгам в usb-то не го подкарвам  Бодни го в ЛАН каратата - при мен така най-лесно се настройва

Не мога да го бодна, защото е само USB Подкарвал съм модема на някакъв стар Knoppix, срамота под ново Ubuntu да не се справим... route -n какво дава при вас?

Я да пробваме начисто. Ходи в директорията, която ти е архива и напиши: Примерен код | sudo make clean

След това свали този deb файл. Инсталирай го, чрез
Примерен код | sudo dpkg -i /home/user/мястото_където_си_го_свалил/eciadsl-usermode_0.11-1_i386.deb
|
И след като се инсталира, пробвай eciadsl-config-tk или eciadsl-config-text за да го настройш.

Пробвах да сложа .deb, но ми каза, че лиспва една зависимост: "pppoe" Опитах се да го инсталирам през Synaptic, но там нямаше такъв пакет. Сега ще видя в google дали ще го намеря. Фатално ли е, ако не изпълня sudo make clean? /etc/ppp/options file-а го преименувах по друг начин, но все тая.

Пробва ли eciadsl-config-tk или eciadsl-config-text?

Всичко съм пробвал, да... Сега само направих мазало със .deb пакета. Утре може да сложа Ubuntu 5.10 и пак да пробвам с source пакетите. Опитах се и rp-pppoe-3.8.tar да сложа, ама май нищо не стана  Странното е че всичко е точно с изключение на route -n. Може би не е вина на драйверите, а на Ubuntu... Не знам вече Или направо Suse 10.1 да слагам? Луд станах с този модем

Нямаше пинг към 192.168.100.1 Проблема се реши по друг начин: инсталирах си АДСЛ рутер и заспа връзката. Сложих 5.10, за да съм с официална версия. Направи към 107МБ ъпдейти, поне бързо стана - тегли с 500килобайта/сек. На рутера ми има отворени портове (20 и 23 със сигурност), но няма хардуерна огнена стена. Кажете какво да правя, че да не ме хакнат грубо? тоест Телнет е отворен

what a wonder googleing searching for a solution uf my linux problem :O) i am nor able to understand anything in cyrillic but probably we have tehe same problem whit the ericsson hm120dp b-quick adsl modem running under lunux (ubuntu 6.06 on my pc) (probabli, if i understand.... ) your problem is discussed in the italian ubuntu community forum, and we too are waiting for suggestions and solutions by from ilmagodilusssino from northern italy!
