Здравейте, знам че темите за берил са в повече последно време и е вече банално ама се мъчих 5 месеца да го подкарам с АТИ карта. Сега вече имам NVIDIA и пак се гафи.

Проблема е следния. Като го пусна ЕДИНСТВЕНО куба работи. Нищо друго. Нито икони нито нищо.

Пише ми: GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap missing или нещо такова.

Всичко в xorg.conf ми е както трябва. Ето го и него

Версията на драйвера ми е 1.0-8776. Инсталиран е от тестинг хранилищата мисля.

Дебиан 4 засега с кде. Иначе имам Гноме и Флюксбокс.

Compiz вобще не тръгва .. Пише:

compiz --replace
GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap is not available with direct rendering.
GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap is not available with indirect rendering. Aborting!

Някакви идеи?

какво ти пише с beryl --test и сигурно ли е че е превключено на драйвера на nvidia

Каво ти дава glxinfo | grep direct ?  Не съм запознат с нвидиите ама защо са ти коментирани тези?

EDIT: Всъщност прегледай и /var/log/Xorg.0.log за някави грешки

може да коментираш и  Option   "AIGLX"   "true" защото ще ползва nvidia

опитай и Option "DisableGLXRootClipping" "True"
и махни коментарите на Section "DRI"

Тая грешка означава стар драйвър. Вероятно ползваш 8ххх а ти трябва 9ххх.

Пробвах абсолютно всичко, но без ефект.

Ерори няма в логовете или поне в този на Х. Има само предупреждения. Ето единственото което засяга видеото:

(WW) NVIDIA(0): Option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" is not used

Пак ше се повторя. Берил тръгва, НО САМО куба се върти. Икони, менюта, десен/ляв бутон на мишката, панели НЕ РЕАГИРАТ. Нищо. Само с Ctrl+Next/Back се върти куба.

Баси и 3Д десктопите упорити

Мда ,при тест берила и при мен нещо не ми харесваше как работи.Обаче на унстабле и компилиран от мен берил всичко е на шест.

Проблема не е бил в Beryl a в X. Току що ъпдейтнах целия x-window-system до 7.2, че и покрай него и КДЕ и берил за сефте тръгна на мойта машина.
