аз съм с кубунту 7.04 и проблемчето е като се стартира ОС-та и там където трябва да си въведа потребителското име и паролата се вижда с резолюция 1280х1024 и като вземе да зарежда  Splash Screens тогава става на йеланата от мен разделителна способност 1024х786 :)
та въпроса ми е как да накарам КДМ темата да се вижда 1024х786
въщото се получава и при ubuntu-то :)

Аз попаднах на това. Естествено, би свършило работа, ако проблема се дължи на ненужно зададен Virtual resolution в xorg.conf.

Ами затрий стойностите за 1280х1024 от xorg.conf и би трябвало да стане. Т.е.
Примерен код
Depth 24
Modes "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"

да стане

понеже Depth 24 ти е по подразбиране, но ако искаш махни стойността за 1280х1024 от всички редове. Малко хамалски начин, ама не ми идва друго наум в момента :)

Логично ..., нали ... имам предвид отговора и решението ;-) :-)

Това още може да си го наречеш ограничаване на Мах резолюция, има го и в уиндоус , но там е с падащи менюта .. ммда :-p :)

... браво все пак ;-) :-)
