Никъде не видях в твоя xorg.conf horizontal sync и vertical refresh на монитора.Добави си ги в секцията Monitor на xorg.conf точно под option"DPMS".Ако не ги знаеш пусни една търсачка с модела и марката на монитора ти и ще ги намериш.Това е много важен показател и не бива да се пренебрегва.Не си казал и какъв ти е монитора-tft или crt.
