This year the “Encuentro Linux” takes place in Valparaiso, taken in hands of a complete Region. It is being organized by UTFSM (Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María), UPLA (Universidad de Playa Ancha), UV (Universidad de Valparaíso), DuocUC (Instituto Profesional y Centro de Formación Técnica DuocUC) and PUCV (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso).
For the enthusiasts, dates are already confirmed, the event will launch on thursday 22nd and will finish on saturday 24th. Therefore, prepare your tickets and passports, prepare your knowledge and prepare yourselves to assist to an Encounter that celebrates 10 years of history in Chile. It does not matter if you have Linux in your heart or someone who is giving their first steps in open source technology; there will be a dedicated space for you.
