Искам да си пусна FTP server ,със Slackware 10.0 съм но вече се обърках..Четох тук-таме из форумите но не разбрах в краина сметка    кое да си инсталирам Pure FTPD или нещо друго...а има ли нещо готово в Slackware 10 ...има ли вече подобна тема или само аз не мога да я намеря?

Пробвай с proftp ще го намериш през гугъл
А за по лесното конфигуриран на сървъра ти препоръчвам
gproftp
и отново гугъл

по принцип proftpd си се инсталира със Slack само трябва да мус е редактира конфигурацията /etc/proftpd.conf

и след това си го пускаш да речем през инит скрипт или от rc.local

Ето примерна конфигурация на proftpd.conf
