Hi ,sorry 4e pisha tuka ,ne biah siguren toia problem za na4inaeshti li e ili ne...Ta taka imam problem s laptopa mi (HP nx9010, P4 3.06,Mandrake 10,KDE, kernel 2.6.3-7mdk).pod Windows raboti bez problem(imam predvid procesora se zabavia avtomati4no na 1600 ,i ventilatora se vkliu4va samo ot vreme na vreme , no pod linux varti postoianno i adski me drazni.Poiz4etoh niakoi i drug forum i stignah do tuk...:instaliral sam ACPI service-a i demona i rabotiat ok, compiliral sam cpufreqd demona i toi e sashto running.imam ikona na Klaptop dolu, dava mi da polzvam extrite ,kato standby ,suspend, hibernate...Dotuka dobre problema e 4e, kato vaveda cat /proc/cpuinfo e vinagi na 3.06 , ne spira da varti ventilatora, dage se zasilva raboti megdu 47-57/8 gradusa.Ako niakoi se seshta kak da pomogne ,molia da mi kage.Otdolu 6te izredia za tia deto iskat malko po podrobno kakvo sam pravil....Blagodaria predvaritelno.


Zna4i draiverite, mislia si 4e Mandrake ia prie baia trudno taia konfiguracia i ne znam dali ne e za tova.V momenta vsi4ko kato 4e li raboti s izkliu4enie na modema(AC-Link Modem na Acer mislia),ama i video kartata (ATI igp345M ,po princip celia Chipset e na ATI)raboti s niakakv stranen draiver, procesora oba4e mislia 4e e nared.Stranno e 4e pri Klaptop imam aktivna opciata Preformance Profile ,i kato poso4a mi dava samo 2 pati 0 MHz i ednoto e izbrano .Kato instaliram CPU Monitor niakakav(gkrellm naprimer) mi pokazva temperaturata, cpu loada, memory,disk no Viltaga i fan -a gi niama (Ne znam dali tova 6te pomogme).Stranno e 4e papkata /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0 e prazna ina4e imam taia na ACPI navsikade.Vav faila cpufreqd.conf probvah da promeniam opciite ama bez efekt '<img'> ....Ako niakoi se interesuva ot neshto pitaite shte otgovariam ... Mersi pak...

Linux on Laptops

Потърси в този саит. Не знам как е с HP, но с IBM TP41 имах подобни проблеми. Той е с Centrino и се оказа, че за да работи powersaverd не трябва да бъдат пуснати acpid i cpufreqd. Странно нали? Това обаче беше решението при мен. Ползвам SuSE 9.1.

Blagodaria na ohubou za saveta. Zna4i edin poznat mi kaza 4e s SuSe 9.1 niamal problem s cpufreq na laptopa si i az reshih da go probvam.Ka4ih go ,i vsi4ko izglegda da se e instliralo ok (Imam predvid s ACPI-to i cpufreq-a)samo triabvashe da aktiviram ACPI-to .i poznaite kakvo namerih s System Log-a .Kazva mi 4e moia procesor ne poddarga cputhrottling ,koeto e smeshno zashtoto pod windows raboti ...ako niakoi se seshta pomognete otdolo sha kopiram celia LOG.....
