Compiz fusion + ubuntu 7.04

от много страници и много варианти пробвах да подкарам това чудо но нещо не се получава всичко го права както трябва но нее. картата ми е ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 128MB но ми я вижда като Xpress 200M и всичко върви и няма проблеми но стигнах до следния

Пробвал ли си с официалния драйвер на Ati (AMD) - fglrx? До колкото знам за да ползваш ефективно по-новите видеоплатки ти е необходим точно той.

да и този пробвах също и нестава.Забелязах ,че като стартирам beryl се зарежда и като дам на него Select Windows Manager-->Beryl екрана премигва за секунди и ме връща на стандартния си gnome windows manager нормално при включена опция Lounch Fall-back Window Manager if beryl crashes. Някой да е попадал на подобен проблем ? нещата се оправиха след като махнах Restricted Drivers но се появи следващия

Пробвай с драйверите на кърнала, ако не стане ще трябва да ползваш fglrx и xgl разширението за X.

Боря се с Дебиан-а... за сега той надделява.
Ъмм... сега Убунтуто-то ма бори... ама аз не му се давам.

значи всичко върви на 6.Точно с това което ти каза се оправи и с малко редакция на xorg.conf
