Благодаря, това помогна. Иначе когато се опитвах да го буутна от  ми изписваше Starting... и после вместо да продължи чувах усилено щракане от харддиска и забиваше. Благодаря отново сигурно щеше да ми отнеме поне седмица да разбере за rootnoverify.

Преди няколко дена ми се наложи да преинсталирам линукса. Тъй като имах ubuntu 8.04 на флашка инсталирах него. Но от разсеяност или от сънливост, след инсталация се оказа че мога да boot вам linuxa и windowsа само през флашката. Отворих menu.lst и промених linuxa да се bootва не от hd1,6 a от hd0,6. Това помогна. Но за Windowsa както и да променях menu.lst не можах да го оправя.

На скоро реших да инсталирам linux ubuntu но не мога да инсталирам драйвери за видео картата.Аз съм с asus A9550. Четох различни теми как да се инсталират, но резултатът беше винаги ужасен. В най-добрият случай успявах да влезна в ubuntutu след 10 съобщения за грешки. Ще ви помоля за съвет от къде да дръпна свястни драйвери и как да ги инсталирам. Благодаря ви предварително.
