интересува ме максимално лека дистрибуция, която да има графична среда и сървърни функции, вървърни.. Msql, Apache, ей такива неща. Aбсолютно начинаещ съм, но съм си купил книжка (билблия) за линукс. Проблема е, че не мога да заделя повече от гигабайт и нещо за линукс

имам нужда от много барз съвет за дистрибуция.. а и да си я инсталирам на харда, не да тръгва от CD

Slackware, но ще ти трябват поне 2гб за него.

2 gb за Slack??? Толкова трябват за инсталация с кде, гном и другите графични щуротии, които смятам в случая са излишни... на 1 gb може да се инсталира всяка дистрибуция с внимателно подбрани за нуждите пакети.

Ето един много олекотен Слак тествaх го на celeron 233 MHz s 64RAM инсталиран на 3 Гб (около 300 Мб зае) хард и мога да кажа че направо лети  '>
Сърварите ще трябва да си ги качваш допълнително, обаче.

не знам доколко е лека, но погледни engarde.
