Проблем с УЕБ Камера - Убунту 10.10

Здравейте,имам проблем с уеб камерата под убунту 10.10 - Не работи,а съм разрешил видеото от скайп.Въпросната камера е SoC PC-Camera.
Някой може ли да ми каже как мога да я пусна? Благодаря предварително.

Първо нека видим за каква камера става въпрос.

Включи камерата в USB порта, отвори един терминал и изпълни следната команда.

Копирай текста който ще излезе и го постави тук.

Напиши я в терминала и я стартирай.След това виж дали ще имаш видео на Скайп.Не е сигурно дали ще стане.И аз имах същия проблем,но с инсталиране на ново ядро [2.6.37] проблема се оправи.

Проблема не е в ядрата. А въпроса е дали в ядрото е компилиран драйвера за съответната камера.

Натисни Alt+F2 и изпълни командата gstreamer-properties.Там отиди във "Видео", и под "Стандартед вход" цъкни бутона "Тест" за да видиш дали камерката работи.
Ако изкара картина, значи проблема е само със Skype.

След това отидох в gstreamer-properties и направих това,което ми каза конан.
Камерата от там работи.След това направих това със командата LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so skype

И камерата тръгна и в скайпа,сега въпрос: Всеки път ли трябва да правя така за да работи? :) Благодаря ви много,наистина ми помогнахте!
