Ами най-вероятно файлът ти не се намира където трябва.
Най-лесно обаче ще е да пробваш:
XFree86 -xf86config /path/to/your/config/file

 Прав е човекът преди мен. Трябна ти нов Х (поне 4.1) и по
 възможност, новите драйвери на NVIDIA, за да си сигурен, че
се поддържат възможностите на тази карта както трябва.
